We believe it is easier to train up a child than to fix a broken adult. Therefore, in our desire to build stronger families, we also focus on trying to teach youth what a healthy person and family looks like to instill strong foundations which can help change their future choices and actions.
We have conducted a lot of this type over the years, so we will just focus on a couple for the purpose of this page to illustrate the type of work we do.
We partnered with The Ministry of Basic Education and Skills Development alongside Scripture Union and donated 60 copies of our character development book, Dive In, to every Senior Secondary School in Botswana for a total of 2040 books donated. This was a campaign run through Scripture Union groups in the schools.
The desire for the campaign was to make a concentrated effort to build moral and spiritual development among the youth of Botswana. For a video to visualize this campaign, please go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTBFLwAuDKM.
We also have conducted numerous Integrity Building Workshops, primarily in schools and churches. The goal of these have been to give youth practical tips on what integrity looks like and engage them in various activities to internalize what it would take to walk in integrity on a daily basis. HFF has taught over 1,500 students in Botswana.
